A relatively modern venue, circa 1928, built by the Italians during their occupation of Rhodes. The distinctive Italian architecture, with a Moorish flavour, creates a breathtaking composition of structures that are subtly positioned around a natural inlet of exquisite beauty.
Whilst the column-lined approaches to the dominant building, the rotunda, are festooned with multicoloured bougainvillea and fragrant jasmine, at the centre of the rotunda, the statue of Eros occupies pride of place, creating an atmosphere of romance and enchantment.
